Paula Batchelor’s amazing dessert and candy tables make her one of the most innovative dessert table designers in the Midwest. As a young girl, Paula admired her mother’s natural talent for party planning and beautiful table décor, which sparked her own interest in entertaining. She hosted miniature tea parties for childhood friends – the menu: M&Ms and peppermint candy; beginning her lifelong tradition of entertaining family and friends. And the sweet memories of her grandmother’s decadent dessert tables and the joy they brought to everyone continue to inspire.
In college her creative repertoire grew to include graphic design, illustration and marketing. After many years as a graphic design professional, Paula returned to her passion for baking and candy making – and Amazing Sweets was born. She now designs one of a kind candy and dessert tables, creating sweet memories for others.
Paula lives in Metro Detroit with her six-year-old daughter.
